AddToCalendarAI is a Chrome extension that helps users add events from webpages to their calendar using AI to extract event information. The extension runs locally in the user’s browser and communicates directly with the OpenAI API to process text selected or provided by the user.
Current Version: The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) or usage data to the developer’s servers.
All processing occurs either locally within your browser or through the OpenAI API, which receives only the text necessary for event extraction.
Future Updates: Future versions may include optional, anonymized usage analytics (e.g., feature usage frequency). Users will be notified within the extension before any such collection begins, and an updated policy will be published.
The extension uses OpenAI’s API to analyze webpage or selected text to identify event details. Please review OpenAI’s privacy policy for information on their data practices.
AddToCalendarAI may store the following locally in your browser:
No data is transmitted to the developer’s servers.
All access is user-initiated.
All processing is transient and occurs locally or via secure HTTPS connections to OpenAI. No persistent external storage or tracking mechanisms are implemented.
By using AddToCalendarAI, you consent to the processing of webpage text through OpenAI’s API for the sole purpose of generating event data.
